The ‘Intercession Before Charlotte’ tour kicks off in New Zealand at Powerstation, Auckland on Monday 27 May before heading to Australia, playing Princess Theatre, Brisbane on Wednesday 29 May, then onto Vivid Sydney @ Carriageworks on Friday 31 May before a final show at the Northcote Theatre, Melbourne on Saturday 1 June.

26-year-old Pittsburgh-native Montell Fish (born Montell Frazier) is a self-described ‘communicator of emotion’, known for his deeply personal lyrics and haunting melodies is captivating audiences worldwide with his unique blend of new age gospel and soul with electronic-infused soundscapes. Fish’s debut album, 2022’s JAMIE, showcases his signature low-key and demo-tape sound which gained mass popularity that saw him release the 7-track EP Her Love Still Haunts Me Like A Ghost later that same year, featuring songs with more hard-hitting R&B influences.
Fish is taking the world by storm with hits ‘Hotel’, ‘Fall In Love With You’, ‘Bathroom’, ‘Talk 2 Me’ and ‘Destroy Myself Just For You’.
Always exploring new sounds, Montell has released several tracks under dj gummy bear, ‘a character from the brain of Montell Fish, used as a way to further experiment with sounds, concepts and musical ideas.’ Released earlier this month, the 6-track EP, Intercession Before Charlotte features the tracks ‘Irrational’ and ‘I Know I Failed You’. Further dj gummy bear songs include ‘2 seater’, ‘how you make me feel’, ‘i’m fallin’ and ‘High’.
