Following the announcement of his first ever headline Australian tour happening this March – April, 20 year old New Zealand artist Muroki today shares his new singleFind Mea track that feels destined to fill dancefloors everywhere in coming months.

Muroki hits Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Melbourne and Sydney over the next few weeks, playing his own shows as well as supporting Kiwi star BENEE on the Australian leg of her 2022 world tour.

Of the single Muroki says: “‘Find Me’ is my live take on dance/electro music. A song inspired by the likes of Kaytranada, Sly & The Family Stone and Duckwrth. The lyrics are bold and blatant, focusing on one singular subject… dancing!’”

Getting over the Tasman is also a thrill for the laidback young musician. ”I’m super excited to be coming to Australia in March and April. This will be my first time playing shows overseas, can’t wait to see y’all there!”

The infectious single also reached #2 on Shazam in NZ as well as #4 on the airplay chart and is well on it’s way to receiving platinum certification.

They’ll also get to see the breezy soul-pop jam about couch-surfing ‘Surfin’ released last year, which received triple j play on the airwaves and GQ nominated the single as the “soundtrack of Summer”.

2019 saw his debut release ‘For Better or Worse’ which caught the attention of BENEE who signed Muroki to her label Olive Records back in 2020. She is such a fan, BENEE will be taking Muroki with her on the Australian leg of her 2022 World Tour. She’s also played his music to Elton John and featured his soulful vocals on her trackAll The Time’.
