.
A revolution for the wider Brisbane NDIS community, introducing Musicare.
Music programs designed to give every human being the chance to experience the magic of making music, Musicare offers one on one music mentor sessions, group sessions (up to 24), recording sessions, music video production services, workshops, industry talks, karaoke, free disability disco’s, dance sessions, disability aerobics, work experience and more.
Going from one to nearly one hundred students in just under two years, Musicare now operates out of five studios across Northern Brisbane and will officially reveal their Clontarf HQ at an INVITE ONLY launch next week. A purpose built venue space for Brisbane’s disability community, the brand new custom designed ‘Musical Theme Park’ that is Musicare HQ features 3 sound proof fully equipped music studios, sound recording and video editing suites, stage lighting, video systems and a purpose built space for group sessions, workshops and performances.
Quarterly Musicare song writing and instrumental workshops often sell out within an hour of ticket release and thus far have featured everyone from Sarah McLeod (The Superjesus) to Ian Haug (Powderfinger).

STUDENT – ALAN – BLIND DRUMMER – WITH THE DIRECTOR

In the words of founder Dan Nebe:
“18 months ago I was teaching one student with a disability and word started to spread about some of the outcomes we were achieving. So quickly in fact that during a Pandemic, with no grants, funding, stimulus packages or assistance from any tier of Government, between then and now I have grown Musicare to 10 staff, 6 studios, nearly 100 clients; and growing every day.
Music is a life giving conduit that both improves social wellbeing by strengthening bonds with others and enlarges the connection between the two halves of the brain. Here at Musicare we are about ensuring that music is something that everybody gets to experience both the magic and healing properties of.”

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
