Starting with humble beginnings as jam sessions between a couple of friends, Northern Virginia’s My Kid Brother have found themselves to be Fearless Records most recent signing, kicking off 2020 with a brand new single, “Native Tongue“, and an Angels and Airwaves support tour to boot!
Focused on originality and genuine lyricism, My Kid Brother fuses together elements from rock and roll, indie, folk and blues to create a sound that is their own. “Native Tongue” is the first release since their debut album ‘Baltimore Street Rat‘ in 2017, and the new single takes a slightly more aggressive approach to their style with a fusion of Arctic Monkeys style rock riffs, confident bass lines and an underlying depth that hooks its listener.
My Kid Brother is Christian Neonakis (vocals/guitar), Piano Whitman (keyboard/vocals), Sam Athanas (drums), Dylan Savopoulos (guitar) and Richard Smith (bass). After three years of flaunting their serene and nostalgic tunes across the US, My Kid Brother are the latest to join the Fearless family alongside artists to the likes of I Prevail, Pierce The Veil, Underoath and Australia’s own Eat Your Heart Out among others.
My Kid Brother has joined Social Animals in supporting Angels and Airwaves on their Winter Tour, with dates to be rescheduled due to sickness. In the mean time, “Native Tongue” is out now and available at all online stores and streaming platforms!

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
