album
‘STRANGE ADRENALINE’
out now + Upcoming indie record store
tour commences“If Vazer’s carefully drip-fed 2023 singles are anything to go by, her second album could – perhaps should – be the one to propel her to the level of wider acclaim other indie singer-songwriters such as Julia Jacklin enjoy in this country.” – Conor Lochrie, Rolling Stone
The wait is finally over for Nat Vazer’s kaleidoscope of stories on her second full length album Strange Adrenaline, out today on the newly formed Bendigo Records. Following Vazer and her band’s appearance at Bigsound 2023, the southern hemisphere’s biggest music industry gathering, she will be painting her surrealist soundscapes and detail rich songwriting in indie record stores across Tasmania, Victoria, and New South Wales for a run of duo and full band instores.
Vazer’s upcoming LP Strange Adrenaline is layered with unassuming arrangements and lyrical introspection, building the different worlds anchored to each song “Writing this album was like looking inward to find the child inside again, and reaching outward for something beyond me.”
Through her vehicle of folk storytelling, she drives through carefully fashioned sonic landscapes, new realms written on piano, and her viscerally brilliant combination of dream pop and indie rock, with released singles premiered on Triple J, LA’s KCRW, Under The Radar, Earmilk, Rolling Stone and Pilerats, plus Spotify editorial playlist adds on Fresh Finds AU & NZ, Local Noise, Live Nation’s Ones To Watch, and radio rotation support from FBi, Double J and PBS FM.
“Strange Adrenaline is like a fast car on a lost highway – forever hungry, forever searching” – Nat Vazer
After a packed few months of live shows earlier in the year including her debut US shows at SXSW, New Colossus Festival (New York City), and WFNM in Los Angeles, and debut at Bigsound 2023, Vazer will capture the hearts of dedicated music lovers across Australia with her upcoming month long run of shows at some of the country’s best indie record stores. With shows at Tommy Gun Records (TAS), Landspeed Records (ACT), Music Farmers (NSW), Bendigo Vinyl (VIC), and more, vinyl and Vazer fans alike can enter Strange Adrenaline’s musical worlds and her new creative dimension.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
