Support for NATHAN BALL
“Wonderfully fresh sounding indie songwriting with just a dash of pop music, it owes a debt to that enthralling trip to the heavens”. – Clash Music (UK)
“The increasingly urgent and intertwined vocals, haunting vocal repetition, and thick swatches of guitar distortion place this track solidly alongside Daughter in the realm of darkly graceful alt-folk”. – The Line of Best Fit (UK)
“A sunny, life-affirming indie bop that indulges your melancholy before whisking it away on a summer breeze”. – Music Feeds (AUS)

UK-based singer-songwriter Nathan Ball has today revealed his new single ‘Borders’, ahead of his debut Australian headline tour in December.
On ‘Borders’, mesmerising arpeggiated guitars set the tone for Nathan’s haunting and endearing vocal melodies, as they submerge the senses and ensnare the heartstrings. As the melancholic track unfolds, lush and swirling soundscapes stir amongst subtle percussion; building with a gradual crescendo into its soaring atmospheric and hypnotic choruses.
Nathan talks about the meaning behind ‘Borders’: “’Borders’ is written about a turbulent relationship between a father and his son, where these barriers exist between them which prevent them from opening up to each other”.
To coincide with the release, Nathan will embark on his debut Australian headline tour which will include five east-coast dates including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Byron Bay, with an appearance at Festival Of The Sun, Port Macquarie.
This follows on from his last trip to Australia which included supporting Ziggy Albert’s 25-date sold out Australian tour. Previous single ‘Call It Love’ was widely embraced by the likes of triple j, GQ, Mixdown Magazine, ABC Local Radio, Music Feeds, Savage Thrills, The AU Review and Pony Anarchy.
Nathan also mentions about his writing process – “When I write a song, I always record it on my phone, then put my headphones on and go and sit on the tube in London and listen to it as I go around. For some reason I like the feeling of having this song in my ears with other people around but only I can hear it, it feels like you’re on a bit of a journey. I often associate music with travelling so I guess I’m just putting it to the test.”
In the coming weeks Nathan Ball will reveal an accompanying music video for ‘Borders’.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
