It’s also been a big week for Indigenous rappers, with Tasman Keith leaping up five places to take the #2 spot with ‘Mission Famous’ as well as a new entry from Birdz with ‘Place of Dreams’ and Dallas Woods re-entering the chart with ‘Hoodlum’. After taking out the #1 position for the year in our 2018 chart earlier this week, Jessica Mauboy has celebrated by re-entering the chart at #5 with ‘We Got Love’ while Tia Gostelow re-enters with ‘Hunger’, replacing her long-running previous hit ‘Phone Me’.
We also welcome Uncle Archie Roach to the National Indigenous Music Chart for the first time since their recent inception, with his seminal single from Charcoal Lane, ‘Down City Streets’.
The National Indigenous Music Charts will return with our first chart of 2019 on January 11.
