Day 1

World electronic group Mantravine brought the good vibes with the first performance of the festival on the Main Stage, followed by Thailand favourite Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band, who took the stage by storm. Meanwhile on Easy Street, Singapore’s own viral internet sensation Preetipls amped up the crowd together with talented lyricist and hip hop artist Subhas. Local hip-hop collective Mediocre Haircut Crew showcased their honest lyrics and genre-bending rhythms, followed by a vibrant set by Scottish beatmaker DJ Shellsuit and Singapore-based musician Ridz. Closing out the Main Stage performances, Los Angeles-based R&B superstar YUNA took things to the next level with her lithe vocals and enthralling performance.

Day 2

Neon Lights Festival 2018 opened its doors at 2pm today, with an incredible array of musical acts in store for the day’s festivalgoers. Instigator Afrobeat Orchestra headed up the Main Stage with their modern take on the Afrobeat genre, followed by local favourites Riot !n Magenta, and post-punk provocateurs Shame. On Easy Street, the crowd was treated to a skratch workshop by E-TracX, Perk Pietrek’s’ enthralling underground electronic dance set, and a brilliant performance by Fauxe, one of Singapore’s most prolific producers. DJ Ulysses brought down the house with a Tuff Club Takeover, and Silent Disco Asia closed out Easy Street with a luminous silent dance party. On the Main Stage, The Vaccines put on an electrifying show, followed by popular Texan ethereal dream-pop maestros Cigarettes After Sex, and dynamic rock sensation Interpol gave the highly anticipated headlining performance of the night.

Day 3

Singapore indie-pop trio Sobs opened the festival, followed by Brooklyn-based art-punk group Bodega, and folk-funk crooner Phum Viphurit. DJ Shellsuit, the Djazz Djogets, Read Bridge Dulcimer and  OrkeStar Trio put on shows to remember, and Daphni, the alter-ego of Caribou’s Dan Snaith, treated the crowd to a rare alternate set. Popular Australian reggae group Sticky Fingers and mesmerising R&B enigma Rhye brought out the best in the festival, and everyday heroes Peking Duk stole the show. Rounding off the night like no one else could was headlining act Caribou, who indoctrinated festivalgoers to his show-stopping brand of electronic innovation.
