With the return of NEW BLOOM FEST in 2025, Australia is set to play home once again to the freshest up-and-coming artists in the realms of alt rock, post-hardcore, shoegaze, grunge, punk and beyond, bringing the golden age of DIY hardcore shows and all things alternative into a modern setting.
Following its hugely successful inaugural year in 2024, including a sold out Melbourne event, NEW BLOOM FEST is back with a sweltering round two for 2025 in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. And today, NEW BLOOM FEST is pleased to announce an array of Australian talent joining proceedings in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne next year, alongside a stacked international card of BASEMENT, BALANCE AND COMPOSURE, DRAIN, ONE STEP CLOSER, SWEET PILL and GLITTERER.
Brisbane will get to experience PRIMITIVE BLAST, THE OTHERS, COLOURBLIND, DEADSHOWWS, WIFECULT and MASOCHIST at Fortitude Music Hall on Saturday 8 March.
Sydney’s NEW BLOOM FEST will also feature SECRET WORLD, GLOAM and FEEL THE PAIN at Roundhouse on Sunday 9 March.
And Melbourne’s NEW BLOOM FEST will get HORSEPOWER, WAYSIDE and CR

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
