UK production duo Jungle release their eagerly anticipated fourth album Volcano alongside their first feature-length film ‘Volcano, The Motion Picture’. The full film will be hosted on the Jungle Fan Club (jfc.junglejunglejungle.com) and available exclusively to those who have purchased a Premiere Pass. The pass will give you access to watch the full film on-demand via the Jungle Fan Club website from 11 August until 31 December 2023. For more info, visit the Premiere Pass FAQ page.
Jungle’s recent singles – ‘Candle Flame’, ‘Dominoes’, ‘I’ve Been In Love’ and ‘Back On 74’ – see the band using the exemplary musicianship and live instrumentation of their renowned live shows as the foundation for their forward-facing, hybrid of disco, soul and hip-hop. Resulting in 25 million streams so far, the four tracks have earned extensive ongoing support at Radio 1 as well as further key airplay spanning Radio 2, Radio 5, 6 Music, Apple Music 1 and Radio X.
The new focus track ‘You Ain’t No Celebrity’ shows a different side to Volcano, the track starts with a lilting gospel fervour before switching up to a punchy hip-hop beat as featured artist and legendary, influential UK rapper Roots Manuva jumps in with his inimitable, charismatic bars.
Announced earlier this week, the Jungle Australian tour dates are now on sale. After playing Spark Arena in Auckland 15 May, Jungle will perform three dates down the east coast of Australia. The band will play their disco-infused floor fillers at Festival Hall in Melbourne on 17 May, head to Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on 19 May, before finishing up at Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on 22 May.

With Volcano, Jungle have once again proven themselves to be one of the most exciting and innovative artists in electronic music. They continue to push the boundaries of their sound, creating an uplifting and free-spirited album, solidifying the duo’s status as one of the most important voices in contemporary music.
Volcano is irresistibly joyous throughout as it flows from the bold mission statement of opener ‘Us Against The World’ to the laid-back grooves of the closing track ‘Pretty Little Thing’ – their second collaboration with Bas. Jungle dart from highlight-to-highlight throughout Volcano, stepping up the intensity for ‘Holding On’, heading deeper into vibrant disco-soul for ‘Problemz’, and introducing their broadest array of creative community collaborators to date, with further guests in the shape of newcomer Mood Talk on ‘Don’t Play’ plus JNR Williams and 33.3 for the slow burner ‘Good At Breaking Hearts’.
Volcano is available to buy HERE, with a gatefold orange and white vinyl being the pick of the album’s physical formats. Meanwhile, ‘Volcano, The Motion Picture’ is available to view exclusively on the Jungle fanclub, with premiere passes available HERE.
Jungle celebrate the release of Volcano with two London events tomorrow: a DJ set accompanied by album visuals at OUTERNET in the afternoon, before they head to Rough Trade East in the evening for a DJ set and signing sessions. They will also play matinee and evening live shows at Kingston’s PRYZM on August 18th, hosted by Banquet Records. Jungle’s full-scale touring in support of ‘VOLCANO’ then gets underway as they headline All Points East on August 26th ahead of major shows across North America and Europe – a tour which will see them perform to a total of 190,000 people.
Jungle are lifelong friends from Shepherd’s Bush, London. Their self-titled breakthrough debut album became an instant classic, leading to a Mercury Prize nomination, which they followed with the album For Ever before amplifying their success with Loving In Stereo – all contributing to a total of over a billion streams to date. Their extended live band has made them firm festival favourites, headliningWildernessandSouth Facing as well as drawing huge crowds as far afield as Coachella and Lollapalooza Brazil, while headline shows have included Alexandra Palace and multiple nights at the O2 Academy Brixton. Their visionary stylised and choreographed videos are also a major aspect of Jungle’s artistic identity, most notably with the ambitious visual narrative that spanned every track on Loving In Stereo.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
