Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have begun the Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand leg of their most celebrated live production to date, THE WILD GOD TOUR, with unanimous praise for Saturday night’s sold out first show at Fremantle Park in Perth.
“…an electrifying crescendo of faith, fury and fragile joy” ***** The Guardian
“From the moment Cave sauntered onstage and greeted the crowd with a wave and a high kick, it was as though there was a pact with the audience – much like his Red Hand Files website and mailing list, Cave and his people were here for each other.” ***** Rolling Stone
“…his artistic evolution as a musician over the past 40 years is extraordinary.” WA Today
“…a transformative night where Wild God-era energy met timeless classics.” Seesaw
“Cave conducting the Fremantle Park choir. It was a truly special moment to end an amazing, intense show which reinforced the sheer power and beauty of music as art.” 100% Rock Magazine
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds performed a setlist drawn from their latest album ‘Wild God’ (including ‘Frogs’, ‘Wild God’ and ‘Song of the Lake’) alongside songs spanning the four decades of their storied career (with tracks like ‘Tupelo’, Red Right Hand’ and ‘From Her to Eternity’) in the critically acclaimed two-and-a-half-hour show.
Held outdoors yet retaining the intimacy fans have come to expect, they were supported by the art-folk sounds and compelling voice of NZ born singer songwriter Aldous Harding. THE WILD GOD TOUR marks the band’s first shows here since 2017, after already wowing audiences across the UK, Europe and North America in 2024 and ‘25.
The next show is in Adelaide (Entertainment Centre) on Tuesday January 20 and will be followed by outdoor shows in Brisbane (RNA Showgrounds), Sydney (The Domain Sydney), Melbourne (Alexandra Gardens), before two exclusive New Zealand shows in Wellington on February 5 and 6, in association with Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts 2026.
The album ‘Wild God’ was released in 2024 and celebrated by critics around the world. The ‘Live God’ album, a stunning testament to The Wild God Tour, was released in December.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
