Globally renowned producer The Magician adds his signature touch to Nicky Night Time and Ali Loves’ recent heater ‘Ubiquity feat. Breakbot’. The remix highlights the original’s funk elements and punchy drums while maintaining the driving bassline from the original. Merging disco with French touch, The Magician accentuates the cut-off and phaser effects for a playful and energetic remix.
The Magician details how he uses the sonic architecture to create a particular feeling, “The secret is to keep the tension going until the vocals come on the break, then cue in the strings when it all starts again, and you get the feeling of falling in love”.

The Magician has established himself as one of modern house music’s most celebrated names over the past decade, having first garnered attention for his work under Aeroplane, a project with fellow Belgian producer Vito de Luca. Known as one of the founders of electro house, The Magician has released tracks on French tastemaker label Kitsuné and was signed to Parlophone/Warner Records. Releasing a number hits over the years including iconic anthem ‘Sunlight’ featuring UK synth-pop band Years and Years, the record has amassed an impressive 60 million streams. The Magician has become a go-to remixer, best known for dance flip of Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers”, which went on to become his biggest release to date, hitting platinum status and garnering close to 300 million streams! More recently The Magician launched his own label POTION and already in 2021 releasing his LP “Magic Tape 100” to celebrate the 100th release of the acclaimed compilation series. The album features local favourite’s CLYPSO and The Aston Shuffle, as well as Ed Banger signed artist, Boston Bun.
