The countdown is on until the opening night of one of Australia’s most exciting new concert events, Night At The Barracks. In just 100 days, Jessica Mauboy will take to the stage under the glistening Manly stars, commencing what is an incredible program of live performances from Australia’s biggest names in music, theatre, ballet, dance, rock, opera and jazz.
The hidden wonderland at North Head Barracks has been unlocked for a concert series like no other. Ticket holders can journey into this enchanting location steeped in historical significance and natural beauty, gazing up into the night sky whilst experiencing some of Australia’s most extraordinary talent.
The string of shows runs from September 9 to October 9 with highly sort after Platinum tier tickets for Jessica Mauboy’s show already sold out. Further performers include David Campbell, The Tap Pack, Josh Pyke with Emma Donovan & The Putbacks, Something For Kate, David Hobson & Lucy Durack, Australian Rock Collective / The Beatles Let It Be album 50th anniversary, Sydney Dance Company – exclusive double bill, The Rubens, Symphony Under The Stars, Bjorn Again and 80’s Symphonica – who will perform all the greatest hits from the 80’s, orchestrated. The final four shows will feature Winston Surfshirt, James Morrison Motown Experience and James Morrison & His Big Band featuring Emma Pask, with revered singer songwriter Tim Finn playing Split Enz, Crowded House and solo hits secured as the last performance to wrap up the concert series.
The event will also host an array of local food and beverage providers bringing you a taste of the northern beaches. In addition to this, the local team at North Head behind Night at the Barracks will proudly be supporting businesses in the surrounding area. Australian ARIA award winner, singer and popular TV presenter, David Campbell is BACK and set to wow Night at The Barracks crowd with his acclaimed show ‘Back in the Swing.’ Featuring Campbell’s silky vocals and his full band, ‘Back In The Swing’ blends together genres of swing, ballads and R&B from artists such as Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra and Billy Joel, with the Aussie singer’s own personal style. Notable songs include Come Fly with Me, For Once in My Life and Walkin’ My Baby Back Home, which will be sure to keep The Barracks crowd singing and dancing along all night.

Josh will be bringing his full band to perform songs from across his seven acclaimed albums.
Acclaimed Indigenous vocalist Emma Donovan and Melbourne rhythm combo The Putbacks burst on to the Australian scene with their album Dawn in 2014, announcing a new voice in Australian soul music. Regarded as one of the greatest songwriters of his generation, Tim Finn is returning to Sydney in a rare solo performance to revisit some of the incredible songs from across his illustrious career. Having established himself in the early 1970s as a founding member of art-pop-rock pioneers Split Enz and later as a member of the internationally successful band Crowded House (alongside brother Neil), Finn has penned some of the most treasured songs in contemporary music. Tim will be performing songs from Split Enz, Crowded House and his acclaimed solo albums.

The simplest way to get into the event site is to walk from Manly Wharf but the Producers recognise this isn’t always possible. There will be limited parking available at St Pauls Catholic College Car Park, 124 Darley Road, Manly, for pre-booking with ticket purchase through Ticketmaster. Where possible the Producers encourage people to use the shuttle bus service from Manly which needs to also be pre-booked through Ticketmaster.
