Polestar, the Swedish electric performance car brand, returns as Presenting Partner, alongside continued support from Northern Beaches Council, Cunard, Gage Roads, Manly Spirits and new partners, Engie and Tempus Two.
Northern Beaches Mayor Sue Heins says, “We’re so thrilled to have this sustainable event return to the area. It is a great drawcard to support local businesses and the entertainment industry while our community and visitors will enjoy performances by singing royalty with a picture-perfect backdrop – it’s the perfect night out.”
Jonathan Williams, Head of Marketing at Polestar Australia explains, “Polestar is an electric car brand with an unwavering commitment to reducing its climate impact, so we look for partners with shared values and equally ambitious sustainability goals. Since first collaborating with Polestar in 2022, Night at the Barracks has emerged as a leader in sustainable events in Australia and we are proud to return as Presenting Partner.”
Following our award win in 2022 for Northern Beaches Event of the Year that was due in part to our commitment to sustainability, we will once again be striving towards carbon neutrality with initiatives that are at the forefront in the events and entertainment industry. We will be working with Engie to power the site from 100% renewable energy, our clothing merchandise is made from 100% recycled material, there will be no single use plastics on site, and we will be once again encouraging ticket holders to use public transport. In addition to this there will also be bike racks on site to encourage visitors to cycle to the event.
Managed and protected by the Harbour Trust, the historic Parade Ground at the Barracks Precinct in North Head Sanctuary has been unlocked for a concert series like no other. Ticket holders can journey into this enchanting location steeped in military historical significance and natural beauty, gazing up into the night sky whilst experiencing some of Australia’s most extraordinary talent.
Janet Carding, Executive Director of the Harbour Trust, says, “The Harbour Trust is delighted to welcome back Night at the Barracks to North Head Sanctuary for another spectacular season. Events like this bring life and energy to our historical sites and attract new visitors to come and enjoy our special places.”
With North Head Sanctuary and the Barracks Precinct forming an integral part of Australian history, event organisers feel extremely privileged to be able to share this event series with the general public. To discover more information about North Head Sanctuary, visit the Harbour Trust website HERE.
We also aim to leave the precious wildlife sanctuary as we found it, and were pleased that our timing for concerts and traffic management last year caused no issues for bandicoots and the other animals that make North Head their home — and they continue to thrive. This year we have worked with the Harbour Trust to reinforce this commitment to North Head’s biodiversity.
The event will also host an array of local food and beverage providers bringing you a taste of the Northern Beaches. In addition to this, the local team at North Head behind Night at the Barracks will proudly be supporting businesses in the surrounding area.
Night at the Barracks is proudly supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
