Nominations are now open for the 2025 AIR Awards, which will be held on Thursday the 31st of July at the Adelaide Town Hall. AIR is thrilled to announce the addition of a new award to the Industry categories of its annual celebration of independent success.
This year’s edition includes the Independent Mix, Studio or Mastering Engineer of the Year. This award will recognise the efforts of an Australian-based mix, studio or mastering engineer who worked on a member single, EP or Album released during the eligibility period (1st January 2024 to 31st December 2024). This award is the latest to join the industry categories of the AIR Awards alongside last year’s Producer and Music Video of the Year awards that recognised the producer and director of a significant AIR member release.

This year’s Indie-Con Australia Conference will be held at the Mercury Cinema from July 30th to 1st August 2025. As announced at last year’s awards, AIR will host A2IM’s Indie Week Australian Edition as part of its events. This is the first time that A2IM will be holding their conference outside of the United States and 2025 marks their 20th Anniversary.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
