The song Midnight Boy is part of Nora’s debut EP, ‘Past Chronicles,’ that addresses the more careless and oblivious years of her adolescence. ‘Past Chronicles’ features in the trilogy consisting of 3 EP’s Nora recently announced, ‘Past Chronicles, Present Chronicles, and Future Chronicles,’ which take one on a journey of Nora’s development as a young woman.

Midnight Boy is about a reckless type of male, who leaves his responsibilities unattended. In the song, Midnight Boy, we hear about an alpha male character, who has an ability to influence others in a way where they do what he wants… such as ruining their sleep cycle or making them forgive his infidelity. From Nora’s experience, this song is a representation of the males who surrounded her throughout her life, minus the ‘cool’ part. However, she does admit that each one of them had their own appeal, which made them appear upon a pedi stool in her eyes. The truth is, as Nora found out after the creation of ‘Midnight Boy,’ that such ‘men,’ or boys as she and her friends prefer to call them, still have their food brewed by their mothers, underwear washed by their mothers, and responsibilities cancelled through the assurance of their fathers. Naturally, there is no shame in such acts, however, Nora considers them as humorous after these so-called Midnight Boys try to appear independent, decisive, and with a tight and busy schedule.

The truth is, that any boy who falls under the dangerous category of a ‘Midnight Boy’ is not always dangerous at first glance. He might appear pleasant, clean, and have his morals somewhat in tact. However, don’t be fooled – where there is a lack of effort and responsibility, there is no happiness for a Midnight Girl like us, says Nora. In the fun song Midnight Boy, ‘messing with other girls’ seems to be just a side factor women have to deal with in modern day society and ‘relationships,’ but in reality, what Nora is really trying to say through the song is that if a boy ‘messes with other girls,’ he is worth every mockery, every message left on seen and insult. In conclusion, Nora Polinnia’s song Midnight Boy calls all young women to rise above the momentary thrill and the discotheque that’ll likely last no more than a month or two before it turns into a lonely and sad groove for them. This song is fun throughout its listens but contains a toxic story about a Midnight Boy, who in reality is probably more lost than all. Nora summons young women, and all women, to join her Midnight Girl disco – a creative journey which will last a lifetime, where everyday and all day Midnight Girls preach about independence, personal flourishing, breaking down all doors and barriers, processing the disease of overthinking and FEMME manifestos. Let’s stay away from Midnight Boy lovers! Let’s groove!

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
