#1: Lil Nas X ‘Old Town Road’ – Lil Nas X sits at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for a ninth week with ‘Old Town Road’. This week, the American rapper has released his debut EP, 7.
#3: Taylor Swift ‘You Need To Calm Down’ (Debut) – Taylor Swift picks up a 17th Top Ten on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘You Need To Calm Down’. The track is the second released from Lover, Swift’s forthcoming seventh album, following on from ‘Me!’ (#2 May ’19).
#7: Chris Brown Feat. Drake ‘No Guidance’ – In its second week on the chart, ‘No Guidance’ by Chris Brown has jumped ten spots to crack the Top Ten at #7. It becomes Brown’s twelfth Top Ten on the ARIA Singles Chart.
#11: MeduZa Feat. Goodboys ‘Piece Of Your Heart’ – Five weeks into its chart run, ‘Piece Of Your Heart’ by Italian production trio MeduZa grabs another new peak, moving three spots to #11.
#12: Drake Feat. Rick Ross ‘Money In The Grave’ (Debut) – Canadian rapper Drake makes his first Top 50 appearance on the chart as a lead artist for 2019 with ‘Money In The Grave’. Featuring Rick Ross, the track was released as part of the two-track EP The Best In The World Pack, along with ‘Omertà’, after the Toronto Raptors won the NBA championship. Drake is a Global Ambassador for his hometown’s basketball team.

#1: Bruce Springsteen ‘Western Stars’ (Debut) – Bruce Springsteen scores his fourth #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with Western Stars. The legendary American singer-songwriter’s 19th studio album is his first release since Springsteen On Broadway (#6 Dec. ’18) and first studio album since High Hopes (#1 Jan. ’14). Springsteen has also hit #1 with Born In The U.S.A.(#1 Oct. ’84) and Greatest Hits (#1 Mar. ’95).
#2: Madonna ‘Madame X’ (Debut) – Pop icon Madonna takes out her 20th Top Ten on the ARIA Albums Chart with Madame X. The 14th studio album by the American artist comes four years on from Rebel Heart (#1 Mar. ’15) and includes guest appearances by Quavo and Swae Lee, among others. Madonna has had eleven #1s on the ARIA Albums Chart during her career.
#9: Hayden James ‘Between Us’ (Debut) – Sydney producer Hayden James makes his first Albums Chart appearance with debut LP, Between Us. The release comes six years on from James’ debut self-titled EP and features the singles ‘Numb’ (#48 Feb. ’18) and ‘Just Friends’ (#26 Jun. ’18).
#13: Amber Lawrence ‘Spark’ (Debut) – Australian country singer-songwriter Amber Lawrence scores the highest peak of her career as she debuts at #13 with Spark. It’s Lawrence’s sixth studio album and the first to chart since Happily Ever After (#44 Oct. ’16). Her previous peak was with 3(#41 Jan. ’12).
#21: Bastille ‘Doom Days’ (Debut) – British group Bastille return to the chart for the first time in three years with Doom Days. The third album by the four-piece is the follow-up to Wild World (#7 Sept. ’16). Bastille first charted with Bad Blood (#10 Aug. ’13).

I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
