Singles Chartifacts: 

#1: Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper ‘Shallow’ – Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper hold #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for a second week with the track ‘Shallow’. Two other tracks from the soundtrack to A Star Is Born have made a move up the chart this week: ‘Always Remember Us This Way’ is up six to #12 and ‘I’ll Never Love Again’ has jumped 17 to #15.

#5: Halsey ‘Without Me’ – American singer-songwriter Halsey continues her climb up the chart with current single ‘Without Me’. This week, it’s up three spots to #5.

#7: Post Malone & Swae Lee ‘Sunflower’ – In its second week on the chart, ‘Sunflower’ by American rappers Post Malone and Swae Lee jumps up six spots to crack the Top Ten for the first time at #7. It becomes Post Malone’s sixth Top Ten in Australia and Swae Lee’s first.

#14: XXXTentacion x Lil Pump Feat Swae Lee & Maluma ‘Arms Around You’ (Debut) – Rappers XXXTentacion and Lil Pump take out the week’s highest debut with ‘Arms Around You’. Using vocals recorded by the late XXXTentacion in 2017, Lil Pump re-worked the track as a tribute to the fallen rapper. Lil Pump is also at #16 this week with his collaboration with Kanye West ‘I Love It’. XXXTentacion sits at #32 on this week’s chart with ‘Falling Down’.

#26: P!nk ‘A Million Dreams’ (Debut) – Just over a month on from wrapping up her mammoth Australian tour in support of Beautiful Trauma (#1 Oct. ’17), P!nk hits the Singles Chart for the first time in 2018 with ‘A Million Dreams’. The track comes from the forthcoming covers album The Greatest Showman – Reimagined, which sees contemporary artists performing songs from the hit soundtrack to The Greatest Showman(#1 Jan. ’18). P!nk last charted with ‘Revenge’ (#21 Oct. ’17).

Albums Chartifacts:

#1: Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper ‘A Star Is Born’ – The soundtrack to the hit film A Star Is Born holds #1 for a second week on the ARIA Albums Chart. Three tracks from the album sit in the Top 20 on this week’s Singles Chart, including ‘Shallow’ at #1.

#2: Queen ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ – As Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody hits Australian cinemas, the film’s soundtrack jumps up three spots to #2 in its second week on the chart. Two other Queen albums have moved up the chart this week: Greatest Hitsis up 14 to #11 and The Platinum Collection has climbed 11 to #18.

#4: Taylor Swift ‘Reputation’ – Hitting the midway point of her Australian tour, Taylor Swift jumps eight spots to land back into the Top Ten with former #1 Reputation. It’s the album’s 14th week in the Top Ten. Swift’s previous album 1989 has also moved up eight spots, this week it’s at #29.

#5: Gang Of Youths ‘MTV Unplugged (Live In Melbourne)’ (Debut) – 2017 ARIA Album Of The Year winners Gang Of Youths take out a fourth Top Five on the Albums Chart entry with the live release MTV Unplugged (Live In Melbourne). Recorded in July 2018, the set sees the Sydney group perform nine tracks from Go Farther In Lightness (#1 Aug. ’17) and one from the EP Let Me Be Clear (#2 Aug. ’16). Gang Of Youths first hit the Albums Chart with The Positions (#5 Apr. ’15).

#7: Andrea Bocelli ‘Si’ (Debut) – Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli releases his 16th studio album, Si. The follow-up to Cinema (#7 Nov. ’15) is Bocelli’s first album of original material since Andrea (#12 Nov. ’04) and includes collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Josh Groban and Bocelli’s son Matteo. Bocelli’s highest chart peak to date was with Romanza(#2 Sept. ‘98).
