It’s less than three weeks till Groovin the Moo (GTM) kicks off and we’ve already checked in a stack of artists to Hotel Groovin. Now, our festival stages are full to the brim as we add over 110 of the freshest Fresh Produce artists to GTM. 

Over the years, a bunch of our Fresh Produce artists graduated to the national touring line up including Alex Lahey, Carmouflage Rose, Confidence Man, Haiku Hands, Montaigne and more! Now we’re super excited to meet the next batch of future stars of Australian music.

We’re also adding a new element to Fresh Produce this year.  Introducing “Handpicked” – where we’ve asked some of our favourite local artists from the last few years to come back and present a handful of their favourite local artists. We’re excited to host a diverse group of emerging talent that represent the varied communities within Australian music.

Please welcome your Fresh Produce and Handpicked artists, including the recently announced triple j Unearthed winners, to each line up.

SHOOT THE MOO AND FILM THE MOO – LAST CHANCE TO ENTER!
Are you an avid snapper or film maker and keen to moooove into a career of professional photography or videography? GTM is looking for Australia’s most promising creatives to be part of Shoot the Moo and Film the Moo 2019. The prize will include a GTM merch pack and tickets for you and a friend to your local Groovin the Moo!

The lucky Shoot the Moo winners at each event will score one-on-one time with GTM’s official tour photographer to learn some tricks of the trade, while the Film the Moo winners will have the opportunity to pick the brains of GTM’s official tour videographer during their session. Afterwards, they will join them in the photography pit to snap one of the artists on our touring line up.

Previous editions of the STM initiative have run alongside artists such as TwentyOne Pilots, Charli XCX, Frightened Rabbit and Portugal. The Man, all giving the opportunity to budding regional creatives who want to get in to professional photography and videography. Applications are open now through shootthemoo.com and close 12pm Monday 8 April with winners notified by 5pm Thursday 11 April.
