Co headliners Jaala and Press Club are both celebrating the release of new albums in the past 3 months, and UNIVERSALLEY will see their exclusive Adelaide album tour shows.
Press Club has recently returned from touring with The Smith Street Band and Bec Sandridge where they are celebrating the release of their highly acclaimed debut album “Late Teens”.
Visitors to UNIVERSALLEY will be treated to a solo performance by Jaala who will sing the beautiful and jangly tracks from her new album “Joonya Spirit” released on Bedroom Sucks records in April.
Northern Beaches garage psych trio, Crocodylus are celebrating their latest single ”My Love” by hitting the road on a number of East Coast dates in May, and are heading down to Adelaide for their first ever show in SA at UNIVERSALLEY.
We are stoked to welcome self proclaimed “Adelaide’s favourite psych pop family band” Zen Panda who have had a number of musical victories in the past 12 months including signing to Swirl Records and the release of their EP.
Towns are quickly becoming one of the most exciting young bands in the South Australian rock scene. The two-piece are a force to be reckoned with. Brandishing a solid onstage presence, the band will bring the party.
Adelaide 5-piece It’s A Hoax are a band driven by a love for creating something out of nothing. Their left-field indie rock is born out of constant improvisation and inspired by everything from math rock to NYC jazz.
Dusty apocalypse songs become a treat with Workhorse’s psychedelic country rock. Their debut release, No Sun is a special gem of the Adelaide music scene, released via Tenth Court.
And finally, Ella Ion will sparkle on the night. Her and the band bring a refreshing flavour to local indie-folk. Finding support spots for Porch Sessions and various other gigs around the city, Ella will be a fantastic opening act for the night.
