Purveyors of punk-rock Pandamic have today released their thrashing How To Be Happy EP out via Ratbag Records / BMG, including previous heavy-hitting releases ‘Bus’, ‘Feel’ & ‘Sweater’
Lead singer Rhys reflects, “When I’m feeling down, I tend to write pretty sad songs. But when I create something, it makes me feel happy. So as sad as a song may seem I feel like it’s able to make anyone who can relate to it happy. The feeling of not being alone. The reassurance that someone else has felt what you feel… Knowing that someone else has gotten through it, so you can too. This being said we felt like “How To Be Happy” would be a perfect name for the record”.
Pandamic have also shared their brand-new single ‘Bleach’, a nod to dealing with the daily grind and the struggles of mental health, with a thumping chorus delivering up lyrics like “And sometimes I wonder what bleach tastes like / And then I change my mind / I’ll say something dumb so my friends think that I’m fine”.
Now that the dust is settling & the world is slowly opening up again Pandamic are hitting the stage this December 10 for an EP launch show in Brisbane. They will also be hitting the road and supporting their buddies The Terrys on their rescheduled Terrysonic Mixtape Tour early next year. Details below:
