Praise for PANDAMIC
“Cancer, moles, sharks, train, hurricane, bus – there’s some real vitriol in here and I’m smiling along rather than running in fear. if you’re a fan of bugs and tiny little houses then dive right in!” – Declan Byrne, triple j Home & Hosed
“2021’s official F U anthem. In spite of the gory sentiment, I’m having such a blast banging my neck and shouting along with Pandamic on this one” – Dave Ruby Howe, triple j unearthed
“Pandamic has learnt from the best and has mastered the art of crafting a catchy tune. Bus is the raucous, fuck the haters anthem you didn’t know you needed, and it’s been delivered by the kind of Pandamic we can actually get behind” – Hysteria Magazine
“Pandamic are running for another breakthrough year, and while you can see their evolution with their new single Bus, a part of it feels like they’ve never left – in all the best ways.” – Pilerats

Purveyors of punk-rock Pandamic are back with their brand-new anthemic track ‘Feel’, out now via Ratbag Records / BMG. This is the third instalment from their forthcoming How To Be Happy EP, which is set for release October 29.
The follow-up to their middle-finger jam ‘Bus’, which scored praise from triple j, unearthed & Pilerats, the boys return with their catchy lyrics and solid hooks on ‘Feel’, this time around less F U and more R U OK?
Lead singer Rhys explains; “Feel is about trying to help someone feel better, when they don’t know why they feel worse. It can be frustrating trying to help someone out of a hole when you’re at the bottom of your own hole but helping somebody out of a hole won’t make yours deeper. So always help.”

Kicking off the release with another killer film clip, Pandamic return to school for a lesson on How To Be Happy, focusing on the subject of Feel.
Pandamic describe the clip; “For this video we wanted to get our mate Shaggy Knees on board for something fun and we thought it could be rad to do a video where Rhys is getting a “lesson” on How To Be Happy but it’s just a bit of a laugh because the message we are trying to put across is that you can’t be taught feelings and there’s no handbook for life; so it’s really up to you to do all of the things you love to get the most out of your time here!”

Unfortunately, Pandamic have had to postpone their East Coast ‘Bus’ Single Tour this July-August due to the pesky virus – but never fear new dates are in the works. In the meantime, you can get your live fix as they will be joining The Terry’s for a few shows in October & December – dates below:
Thursday, 7 October – The Triffid – Brisbane
Friday, 8 October – Sol Bar – Sunshine Coast
Thursday, 9 December – Miami Marketta – Gold Coast
Combining raucous riffs, rumbling bass lines, and relentless drumbeats with catchy melodies and melancholy musings on heartbreak and humanity, Pandamic have a dynamic sound that captures the attention of audiences wherever they play from the first note.
Their distinct fusion of grungy skater-punk and indie rock and riotous live act eventually caught the eye of Brisbane surfer-skater-party punks Dune Rats, who signed them to their label Ratbag Records.
Fans have already had a taste of what to expect from How to Be Happy with previous releases ‘Sweater’ & ‘Bus’, the six-track EP delivers up non-stop headbangs, soaring choruses and will leave you frothing for more.

AMNPLIFY – DBA
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
