Rising Los Angeles-duo Paris Texas have shared a new song and video, “girls like drugs”. Louie Pastel and Felix have been subtly hinting at new material over the last few weeks with two different teasers posted to their socials, including one that features Zack Fox, that extend the storyline they built around their debut EP, BOY ANONYMOUS. The new track is accompanied by a video directed by Zhamak Fullad and Raheem Hercule that reimagines the peep show scene from the 1984 Wim Wenders film as only Louie and Felix could, while they perform the track on a tiny stage from under the subject’s bed.
The new song builds upon the buzz the duo accrued after arriving out of nowhere with their debut project BOY ANONYMOUS earlier this year, which was celebrated by Alternative Press, The FADER, NME, NPR, Paste Magazine, UPROXX, Acclaim, Sniffers, Rage, FBi Radio and more. Pigeons & Planes also named Paris Texas in their ‘Best New Artists’ list off the back of their debut single, describing the duo as having “their own artistic identity, storytelling expertise, and distinct vocal delivery, but it’s the common vision they share that makes Paris Texas so engaging.” BOY ANONYMOUS saw the LA-based duo cover a dizzying range of sonic textures and moods with tracks like “FORCE OF HABIT“, “SITUATIONS” and “HEAVY METAL“.
Check out “girls like drugs” and stay tuned for more from Paris Texas coming soon.

AMNPLIFY – SW
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
