NEW ALBUM SONGS FOR THE DRUNK AND BROKEN HEARTED
OUT JANUARY 8, 2021

With his latest single “Remember to Forget,” Passenger (Mike Rosenberg) tells the story of another character in the world of Songs For The Drunk And Broken Hearted — the guy who refuses to call it a night. Rosenberg says, “This song is for all of those people that never want to go to bed after a night out and just want to stay out drinking for as long as they can. I’ve definitely been that guy before, and I know a few others that have. The idea of having to be on your own in a dark room with ringing in your ears is not a pleasant one.” Listen HERE.
Out January 8th, Songs For The Drunk And Broken Hearted is an album populated by drunk and broken hearted characters. Most of the songs were written following Rosenberg’s own breakup. He reflects, “You’re incredibly vulnerable for a few months. You’re so used to the safety of being with somebody and suddenly you’re out in the world on your own. And you get pissed and probably make some bad decisions. It’s universal. Most everyone goes through it at some stage.”
The accompanying music video for “Remember To Forget” completes a trilogy of connected videos in Passenger’s universe of drunk and broken hearted characters. Watch HERE. The series began with title track “A Song for the Drunk and Broken Hearted,” which set the scene in a half empty dive bar with patrons drowning their sorrows – watch the video HERE. This was then followed by “Suzanne,” which turned the viewers’ attention to an older woman sitting alone reflecting on days gone by. Watch Suzanne HERE.

With an authentic and engaging live show that has won over scores of fans and critics around the globe and allowed him to headline some of the world’s most famous stages. Passenger now invites fans to an intimate evening at London’s famed Royal Albert Hall for an exclusive performance film that will be broadcast on January 10, 2021 to celebrate the album’s release. Everyone who pre-orders the album receives priority access to the event and will receive Remember To Forget, Suzanne, A Song For The Drunk and Broken Hearted, The Way That I Love You and London In The Spring as instant downloads.
Hailing from Brighton, England, Passenger is a multi-award winning, platinum-selling singer-songwriter. Although still known for his busking, he long ago made the journey from street corners to stadiums, thanks in part to supporting his friend Ed Sheeran, and most notably with ‘Let Her Go’ which reached number 1 in 19 countries and is approaching three billion plays on YouTube and was recently named the third most shazamed song in the world. ‘Let Her Go’ is just one song from a remarkable and prolific back catalogue, including 2016’s Young as the Morning, Old as the Sea, which topped the charts in the UK and beyond.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
