Aussie faves Peking Duk are psyched to announce their forthcoming Clowntown Tour. Starting in April through to the end of May, the tour takes in capital cities and regional centres in all five Australian states. It’s their biggest run of headline shows to date.
Peking Duk (Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles) first captivated fans in 2014 with their 4 x platinum single ‘High’ (feat. Nicole Millar) and then backed it up with the triple-platinum hit ‘Take Me Over’ (ft. Safia), and the gold-accredited ‘Say My Name’. One of the country’s most popular and charismatic electronic acts, Peking Duk have sold out consecutive headline tours at home, toured internationally and become beloved staples on the festival circuit (Splendour in the Grass headliners, Lollapalooza, Coachella, Electric Forest & more).
Peking Duk‘s latest single ‘Stranger’ feat. Elliphant (already double-platinum, over 16 million Spotify plays) was the #1 Australian Artist Single for 10 weeks running and recently placed #9 in the triple j Hottest 100.
Joining Peking Duk on tour is Melbourne’s indie/rap upstart Ivan Ooze and the self-professed ‘Hannah Montana of the rap game’ Mallrat. Ivan Ooze is fresh from supporting a string of A-list acts (Wu-Tang Clan, Cypress Hill, Ice Cube) and releasing a collab with Ghostface Killah in 2016. Brisbane’s Mallrat just turned 18 and has already made her mark on the industry with a succession of catchy tunes and millions of streams online.
