No Mono today release two live videos for their songs ‘Butterflies’ and recently released track, ‘Violence Broken’. Recorded at the newly built Pieater HQ BellBird in Collingwood, Melbourne, the videos see an unique collaboration between the performer and the audience. The Pieater family, together with a few local friends, were invited to record the live performances from every corner of the room to capture footage that was wholly intimate, raw and personal. All the footage was then compiled to make the edit to create a documentation of documentation.
Tom Fraser of Pieater says, “We were unsure how the evening would pan out, but it worked better than we could have possibly hoped. The guests took on their co-directing roles with so much passion and concentration. I totally get that people feel filming at a gig ruins the experience, however in this setting it only enhanced it – you felt comfortable to film, could shoot from anywhere and it felt like “we’re all in this together to achieve something”, which created a great connection between the audience and artists. Then each person got go home with their own filmed memento of the performance. We’re keen to do it again with more artists and guests, to share the experience.“
No Mono will be taking to the stage for their debut run of shows across Sydney, Melbourne and A lice Springs this Feb 2018. The pair will also be joined by impressive local acts Anatole (Syd), Annie Bass (Syd + Melb) and Jade Imagine (Melb). The shows will be a first public glance at the music that Tom Snowdon and Tom Iansek have been creating at those very walls of the BellBird studio over the past two years, and the first time back on stage together since their record-breaking run with #1 Dads in 2015.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
