announce rowdy new single + video
‘BOTTLE’Rambunctious indie-folk rockers, Pierce Brothers have been busy! Having recently appeared on the iconic children’s TV show Play School, the twin brothers from Melbourne are thrilled to announce their latest release, Bottle. High-spirited and dynamic, Bottle encapsulates the infectious energy that has defined the Brothers’ live performances, for which they have become known the world over!
Penned by the brothers Jack and Pat Pierce during their last European tour, the inspiration for Bottle stems from the pangs of homesickness, and the adjustment of returning to normal life after being on tour. Recorded at Jack’s home studio, the duo enlisted the expertise of long-time collaborator Phil Threlfall to produce the track, describing him as an honorary band member. “We really wanted to give the song a blues, almost Motown feel. Kicking things off with the horns gave it such a vibe, and we absolutely love it! When I wrote the track, I knew the exact part the horns were going to play, but when we got into the studio, it was Phil who pitched that opening, and I‘m so happy he did!” says Jack.
Bottle is a soul-stirring testament to Pierce Brothers’ musical evolution and their steadfast dedication to their craft. Having established themselves as a formidable presence in the indie music scene, the duo is slated to commemorate a decade of musical exploration, growth, and connection with their dedicated fanbase. Seamlessly weaving emotive lyrics with rambunctious instrumentals and boisterous bravado, Bottle is a hallmark of the band’s distinctive sound.
The accompanying music video for Bottle is a raucous explosion of vibe! Filmed one morning at the King of Tonga bar in Elwood, the Brothers’ exuberant energy and dancing was captured by Pat’s side project and production company with Dara Munnis (Pierce Brothers’ keys player). “It’s a pretty heavy subject matter, but I wanted to use a dark moody setting and have a bit of levity in there. We liked the idea of Jack going hell for leather, while I was slowly coaxed into the song. Much like a night at a pub can be.” Pat recalls, “It was such a quick shoot and edit, and came together really well! Just vibes for days!”
In tandem with the single release, Pierce Brothers are gearing up for a European Tour in February 2024. Promising an unforgettable experience, the tour will showcase the duo’s extensive repertoire, captivating audiences with their magnetic stage presence and infectious energy.
Adding another noteworthy achievement to their portfolio, Pierce Brothers were recently featured on the iconic children’s program, Play School. This fun crossover spotlighted the band’s versatility, introducing their music to a new generation and affirming their universal appeal.
Bottle is now available on all major streaming platforms, inviting fans to immerse themselves in Pierce Brothers’ latest offering. With no sign of slowing down, Pierce Brothers continue to captivate global audiences with their enduring passion and creativity. With their vibrant live shows and soul-touching music, they stand poised to make an indelible mark on the indie-folk genre.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
