adding an extraordinary array of must-see international and local acts to the 2026 event.
Newly announced artists include Fantastic Negrito (USA), the three-time Grammy-winning blues innovator whose raw, genre-defying sound has electrified stages worldwide; dreamy folk-pop singer songwriter Hannah Cohen (USA); Morocco’s leading all-female gnawa ensemble Asmâa Hamzaoui & Bnat Timbouktou (MAR); Scottish trailblazers Dallahan (SCO); Catalonia’s exuberant folk collective El Pony Pisador (CAT/ESP); and Americana icon Jim Lauderdale (USA).
They’re joined by Feelds, Caisha Sprout, Crest of Crows, The Ocelots (IRE), Mountain Grass Unit (USA), Radical Son, The Southern Ocean Sea Band, The Lost Clog, and celebrated English duo While & Matthews (ENG).
These acts join a stellar cast of already announced artists including Iron & Wine (USA), Kasey Chambers, Emma Donovan’s Take Me To The River project, Willie Watson (USA), Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, Mary Coughlan (IRE), Åkervinda (SWE), Pierce Brothers, Rainbow Girls (USA), Elephant Sessions (SCO), Beoga (IRE) and many more.

Festival Director Justin Rudge said “Every announcement adds a new chapter to the Port Fairy story — each one a celebration of connection through the shared culture of music and song. This latest line-up brings together everything from Oakland blues to Moroccan trance, Appalachian string music and Catalan sea shanties, alongside the heart of Australian folk. Book your tickets and start planning your visit to Port Fairy. This is one festival you don’t want to miss!”
Celebrated for its charming seaside setting, community warmth and sense of discovery, the Port Fairy Folk Festival continues its tradition as one of Australia’s most cherished and adventurous music gatherings.
Port Fairy Folk Festival takes place in Port Fairy, Victoria over the Labour Day long weekend, 6-9 March 2026.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
