How would you describe your journey in the music industry so far, and where do you want to go from here with your music?

Over the years I’ve learnt so much and want to keep learning. I think it’s fair to say I’ve had a pretty good run. There’s nothing better than hearing someone sing your own song at your gig. Although it’s had it’s up and downs, just like anything in life, it’s been a combination of perseverance, hard work and enjoying it at the same time. This year I’ve embarked with a new team, a new journey and strategy to take over the world. One song at a time.

When did you know you wanted to make music, and perform as your career?

I’ve always been around music, which really started from church but when I was about 20 years old I remember that’s when I told my sister in a serious conversation that this music world is what a want to be a part of. At the time, I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life but one thing I did know was that I loved music so much.

Who have been your musical influences or artists you have admired growing up?

Old school influences would have to be Marvin Gaye, Prince, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson to name a few. New school my favs are Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake amongst many others!

Are there any artists or musicians that you have been so impacted by that it changed your view on life or mentality toward music?

Michael Jackson had a lot to say with the stories he told in his music about equality, love and life. One of the songs really opened my eyes when he wrote ‘black or white’ which has a lot of meaning for me because even until today, we have so many issues around this problem about being equal.

How would you describe your sound, and why is it unique from other artist’s sound?

My sound is a fusion of that old school soul with a modern day sound. Soul/Rnb/Funk which suits today’s market.

What can fans expect from you at THE FRINGE festival 2018?

A lot of Marvin Gaye! It’s going to be epic taking everyone on a journey through Marvin Gaye’s life, his trials, tribulations and successes. Oh and obviously I’ll be doing some of my own music! Get ready to dance and have a good time.

What are your goals for 2018 with your music career?

A lot new content will be out this year. Working on a record and I’ve started acting!

If you weren’t working in the music industry, what else do you think you would be doing with your life right now?

I think I would be playing basketball, hopefully at high level because that was a huge passion for me growing up as a kid playing basketball every week.

What’s one song fans might be surprised you really like?

Taylor Swift – End Game…. lol!

What will you be doing with your career the rest of the year post THE FRINGE?

Working on more music, acting, traveling and trying to take over the world.

.

Lastly, just for fun – If you had to eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would you choose?

I’d die a happy man if the only thing I had to eat was peppermint choc chip ice cream!
