With producer Uncool Sam, they had their momentum stifled by the pandemic. 

Now this dynamic duo are determined to bounce back with plans to release at least 2 brand new tracks with videos for wider distribution, in the coming months. 

When asked about the music and message the guys are striving to evoke, Nick was able to articulate his current mantra – ‘The message and brand I am trying to create with Chatters is just to have fun. As we all have struggles in life that get us down and if I can write a song or perform a show so you can forget about your problems for a second and smile, then I feel I have done my job. A lot of the songs I write are heavily based around appreciating the little things and not taking life to seriously.’

Nick also mentioned a few artists that have motivated and inspired him during his journey to date – ‘I have a wide range of artists that influence me, but for songwriting artists such as horrorshow, drapht, urthboy and hilltop hoods are massive influences as they all know how to tell a story in such detail yet make songs so catchy. But I am also hugely influenced by Kiss as I love how they branded themselves as well as how much effort they put into there live shows to stand out from other bands during there time.’

Chatters has mastered an energetic presence within his blended musical genre and already has a niche following of loyal fans locally that easily filled the venue to capacity. 

Entering his stage with confetti to a crowd well versed in his material. 

Every track was fully interactive with DJ Uncool Sam and his fans. 

The set was a solid 45 minutes of wholesome joy.

Lyrically topical but never divisive Chatters delivers vocally with a combination of vocal skill, clean singing and sing/speak & rap against his own original melodic beats & heavy bass lines. Every song has catchy hooks for maximum crowd call backs from those dedicated well acquainted consumers. 

Chatters energy and stage presence, is contagious, consistently engaging with the audience, who kept dancing attentively for the whole set. 

He seems to have captured the art of entertaining by delivering his material with enthusiasm and inclusiveness. Utilising the best party drink tricks during the ‘Chatters Live’ experience.  

It was an exciting show to witness from this fine young Perth talent. 

In addition to more local gigs, look out for shows when they go rural, potentially heading to Perth’s southern wine regions.
