In Harro’s new single “Success”, the West Australian musician has crafted a song full of pathos and passionate rock. The new song is a hefty example of orchestral rock that has been delivered in the old school style of shock and performance rock.
Recorded in the Swan Valley, “Success” is the lead single off Harro’s upcoming debut album, “One Word Says A Lot”. Harro has described the album as being “a concept album of sorts” and in “Success”, Harro has given himself the space to experiment as he muses over the life lessons he’s learned.

Opening up with the rumblings of a timpani drum and strings before the low bass drum kicks in, you can tell Harro is aiming high. “If you want to get what you need, you have to fail to succeed” is the mantra of the song and the gravitas of that statement radiates throughout. It suggests that Harro has had his fair amount of struggles and dark times but the songwriter does also see that it’s those struggles that have made him stronger and a better person, a better artist.
Success is at its core a big, bold rock song that is embellished by a flair of theatre. Its production is similar to what you’d find in a Muse or Alice Cooper track. Brimming with personality “Success” pushes its message home with driving dirty guitar riffs, sweeping synths and Harro’s vocals which have a gruffness that is perfect for the song. This is the type of rock track you don’t hear much of these days, a brash song with gusty bravado headed up by an artist with eclectic tastes. Mastered by the US-based Jeffro, Harro defines his musical style as powerful, thoughtful and individual.
