Gusto is the new single from South Australian Alt-Rockers, Indiago. Off the back of their last single, Loose Change, the three and a half minute track that is Gusto, is proof of the young band’s evident maturity and growth in their song writing and musical evolution.
The band created this song in honour of their fans, in particular the fans that have been there from the beginning and stuck it out – which is fitting because the message behind the track is purely full of heart and soul. The song opens with the smooth, flowing sounds of the guitar; immediately giving out a modern Kings Of Leon/Sum 41 ballad kind of vibe, and then it’s all up from there. We are taken on a rollercoaster ride, higher and higher as the song plays on until we reach the top; the chorus. Hold on tight, because the chorus is the roaring drop – once a slow rock ballad, now a fast paced, rocking anthem with those memorable lyrics you’ll be humming for days on end.

Gusto is what the Alt-Rockers of the world have been waiting for. Indiago deliver a multi-faceted journey – an electric guitar led melody, a dynamic bass and drum line to keep it all together, and set of soulful vocals full of warmth, heart and sincerity. I’m about 99% sure that Gusto is going to be the next track you put on your playlist.
Gusto is an absolute, rocking banger and every bit the right song to open Indiago’s 2018 with. I feel like this is only just a taste of what is to come for Indiago. Bring it on, I say!
