Featuring 5 of the world’s biggest dance superstars live on stage including: CASCADA, DJ SASH!, DJ ALIGATOR, N-TRANCE &LOVE INC. performing all of their hits live on stage.  Get taken on a nostalgic journey through the biggest dance anthems to hit the ‘Wild Radio’ air waves and played in clubs around Australia and around the world.

The ‘Wild Nights Tour’ will be bringing back all the original DJs, music and memories for one night only, across Australia.  Check out our chat below with Cascada, ahead of the much anticipated tour.

Before I get into your upcoming Australian shows. I just wanted to talk about your success and achievements. Everytime We Touch and Evacuate the Dance floor have had and still continue to have such success. Did you have a feeling you were creating something special during the writing and recording process? 

Funny you should ask that…I didn’t know AT ALL what I was recording, when I sung Everytime we touch- but that had a lot to do with the fact that I was very young back then, had only been singing soul and r’n’b till that day and wasn’t into dance music much at all. That song was one of the first I ever recorded for Cascada!  

But when we were in the studio years later recording Evacuate, I remember being so excited because I loved the track so much and felt we had a winner on our hands!

Do you have a team of writers and producers that you work with religiously or do you mix it up a bit? 

We’ve always worked with the same, small group of people for many years….not to say it wouldn’t be interesting to get involved with other producers, though.

It’s been a while since you’ve released new music, have you been working on any recently?

We actually are about to head back in the studio in the next few weeks:)

When can we expect its release? 

Nothing’s written in stone yet, I’m afraid.

You’re touring relentlessly at the moment. Playing shows every other weekend, do you have a memorable moment or performance from this run of the tour?

I don’t know if one could see this as part of “this run” of the tour (as I’ve never stopped touring since 2005 except for a 6 month break in 2015) but a few years ago we arrived at a large open air stage in Finland and while we were standing backstage, we noticed the guy ON stage (it was merely 15 degrees or so) had stripped NAKED. This was not a Chippendale, so you can imagine how funny this situation was! Slightly embarrassing aswell….:D

Does your set change much when you play a club show compared to when you play a festival?

Not really. We always play the biggest hits, as they are expected of us and are thankfully popular all round the world. But we do decide on small differences in the set according to the country we’re playing in.

In June, you will be coming to Australia for the Wild Nights Tour with DJ Sash, DJ Aligator, N-Trance and Love Inc. What can we expect from your set? 

Expect to hear our most popular songs and jump up and down like there’s no tomorrow!

This will be your first time in Australia. Do you have much time off to do a bit of sight-seeing while you’re here? 

I’ve heard I’ll have 2-3 days off, so that will be very special and unusual…but it gives me a chance to really see Australia. I’m looking forward to that madly.

Do you listen to much Australian music? If so, who is your favourite Australian artist? 

The first people that obviously come to mind are Kylie and Natalie Imbruglia. Before I was famous I sang in a cocktail bar and “Torn” was one of my regular cover tunes!

Is there any country that you are yet to tour, that you would like to?

I’d like to tour Asia more (we did a Japan tour about 10 years ago, which was amazing) and maybe perform in the UAE. I love Dubai and have been on holiday there many times. Australia was the biggest goal we had never achieved when it came to touring, so there you go!

Lastly just for fun, what’s your go-to to Karaoke song?

I was always too shy to do Karaoke!
