Your new single “Heaven Or Hell”has just been released! Describe its origin and evolution.
So ‘Heaven or Hell’ originated when I was at work, in somewhat of a limbo state with a girl I was seeing at the time. I began thinking if we were even on the same page, or how it would go if we took the next step. Can confirm it didn’t end in Heaven hahah!
How would you describe your sound? Why do you think people resonate with your music?
Dear Sunday’s sound has always been a hard one to pin point, and I think thats a massive reason why we love doing what we’re doing as a band. Between the four of us, we all listen to really diverse music and I guess that gets subconsciously added to out ‘sound’. I guess thats also why people resonate with what we do.
Any tours or events happening or coming up soon? What’re you looking forward to, and what can the fans expect?
Yes! Some very cool things are in the pipeline, September will have us supporting Adam Hyde (Peking Duk)’s solo project Keli Holiday for his WA shows, alongside supporting for Boo Seeka’s upcoming Tour. There’s also and a few secrets we cant let slip just yet – super exciting stuff though!
If you could perform with any music artist, Dead or Alive, who you choose? And why?
Thats a tricky one! The Kooks, Ocean Alley, Spacey Jane and Arctic Monkeys to name a few off the top of my head, but the list could go on and on!

How has COVID affected you guys to date? What have you introduced to balance the losses from missed events?
We were super lucky when COVID originally started, being in Perth and super isolated meant we were always able to play shows. In saying that, since the borders have opened and closed we’ve missed out on some shows we were super excited for. It’s super nice to see the world go back to a somewhat normal now though. We cant wait!
Collaborations are always a great outlet for artists to branch fanbases, do you guys have any dream artist collabs?
We do love a collab. I think any of the artists we said above would be the dream. In saying that, doing a something a little more left-field with a rapper like Jack Harlow or Anderson .Paak would be sick!
With an EP and a gauntlet of singles, is there an Album on the drawing board?
We’re always writing new music so an album is defiantly something were penciling in as we speak. Gonna have to wait and see!
Which artist’s music and/or performance, past or present, inspires you today?
My music taste changes all the time, but at the moment I’ve been listening to a lot of Arctic Monkeys. But watching Freddie Mercury control a crowd has always been something to aspire to.
