How did the band come together? Where did it all begin?
The band started as a musical partnership between brothers Dimitri and Chris Stathopoulos, playing music together since their early teens! The band was officially launched late 2021, with Bevan Kelly joining on bass at the end of 2022.

Briefly describe your journey to date.
We’ve just released our long awaited debut album titled “Overthrown.” Out now on all streaming services and on CD. It has been something we’ve been working towards for a long time and have poured all our effort into. We’re super proud of it.

How would you describe your sound? Why do you think fans resonate with your music?
We’d say our sound is a combination of all our different influences – ranging from heavy rock, blues and classic rock of the 60’s and 70’s through to the classic metal of the 80’s and 90’s grunge. Fans resonate with the fact that we are not trying to copy any certain style or band but rather, we are putting our own spin on the genre and write/perform the music we like, the way we want to! We don’t stick to one single genre and showcase diversity through our music.

Which artist’s music and/or performance, past or present, inspires you today?
We’re still inspired by all the legends whose music has helped make us who we are! Artists such as AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Metallica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden and KISS.

Your new Album ‘Overthrown’ has just been released! What’s it all about? Describe its origin and evolution.
Our album “Overthrown” is a summary of what we’re all about as a band – a high energy mixture of hard rock with unpredictable changes, heavy riffs and lyrics that carry weight and meaning. The songs that we’ve written over the years have been road-tested and developed through countless live performances and showcase each of our strengths.

What are the signature tracks on the album, and which are your favourites to play live?
All of them! If we had to choose a few – the opener Overthrown, for which we’ve just released a music video, Let Go because it’s our signature closing song at gigs and Mystery because it always gets people moving!

What tours and events are coming up? What are you looking forward to, and what can the fans expect?
Our album launch this Saturday the 6th of December at the historic Espy (Esplanade Hotel) in St Kilda, with Hard Mercury and El Bebe! We can’t wait to officially launch our album and show Melbourne what we’re made of. Expect nothing less than a night full of non-stop high energy rock from 3 of Melbourne’s finest acts! Keep an eye out for interstate shows in 2026!

If you could perform with any music artist, Alive or Dead, who would you choose? And why?
We couldn’t decide on one, so here are a few! Judas Priest, Rainbow (with Ronnie James Dio on vocals), Iron Maiden, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix. Thin Lizzy ,The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and AC/DC on the Highway to Hell 1979 tour – to witness the power and magic of these bands who changed the course of music forever.

What are your long-term aspirations as a music artist and how are you progressing towards them?
To release more music consistently and make a name for ourselves organically, both nationally and internationally, and play live with bands of all sizes and become the best musicians we can possibly be. Our debut album is a big step in this direction for us and feel that we’re continuously building momentum.

With that in mind, what piece of advice would you give to an artist starting out?
Never forget why you first started playing music in the first place. Play live as much as you can, make the music that you want to make, support other bands and musicians, network, be kind and lastly – have fun!

What is the best thing about performing to a live audience? What’s been the career highlight so far?
The thrill of playing your own original music live on stage, knowing you’ve created it from nothing, and feeding off the energy of the crowd. Career highlight so far – releasing an album and talking about it live on air on radio!

Now for some quickfire questions to get a little personal:
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done? No comment, unless you can confirm cops don’t read this!
What is the one topic you can talk about for hours? All three of us – definitely music!
What is the thing you like most about yourself? Our humour, being unique and our taste in music!
