Have you always wanted to be a musician? When did you get the song writing bug?
I have! Ever since I was the age of 4 and played on pots and pans in my kitchen, I knew music was the only thing I wanted to do. When I was little, I’d sit in my living room and play the piano, coming up with random melodies and lyrics about pre-school or whatever. I’m glad I got the bad songs out of the way early!

How would you describe your sound? Why do you think people resonate with your music?
I would say it’s a mixture of emotional dance music with a splash of punk rock and party potential. I think people resonate with my music because i’m intentional with how I write. I make sure the lyrics match the melodies, and that the themes I write about are based on personal or relatable experiences. When people listen, I want to provide a musical shelter to comfort them and create a safe space for them to feel what the music says to them.

Which artist’s music and/or performance, past or present, inspires you today?
ILLENIUM is a huge inspiration of mine. His melodies and the way he creates atmospheres of emotion are really inspiring and awe-provoking. I’m also really inspired by bands like Blink-182 and Machine Gun Kelly. I’m so excited that punk music is becoming popular again! Definitely more of that sound to come from me.

Your new EP ‘Best Part of Me’ has just been released! Describe its origin and evolution.
Yes! I’m so excited about it!! This EP started as a quarantine project over a year ago. I had been sitting on “Where You Are Now” with Dianna for about a year and a half, and had just connected with SVRCINA to write Best Part of Me, and realized that the two of those tracks contrasted the themes of Love and Loss well. As I played around with those ideas a bit more, I wrote ‘Miss You’ and had the EP! The goal was to contrast the ideas of Love and Loss throughout the EP and tell a story of infatuation which ultimately leads to feeling like you lost an important part of yourself when it doesn’t work out. Melodically and thematically, I took a unique approach to every song and tried to represent the emotions the lyrics did with the instrumentals. I really hope everyone enjoys the EP and connects with it regardless of where they’re at in life.

Is there an upcoming EP or album on the drawing board?
There is definitely some more music in the works I can promise you that! You’ll certainly be seeing some more from me in 2021, but what that will be I’ll leave a mystery for the time being :)

Any tours or events coming up soon? What are you looking forward to, and what can the fans expect?
I do have a few festivals booked for the fall and I’m SUPER excited about that! I’ve never played in a mainstream EDM Festival before and I can’t tell you how pumped I am to be making my debut in the fall! Other than that, some local shows on the East Coast, and potentially a few special live streams/youtube sets for my international fans! What I’m most looking forward to is bringing a ridiculous amount of energy to the stage. Guitar solos, Headbanging, crying, we’ll be doing it all.

If you could perform with any music artist, Alive or Dead, who would you choose? And why?
I mean if its ANY artist go big or go home right? I’d have to go Beethoven. How sick would it be to be going hard to some dance music and then I’m just like ‘Give it up for my boy Ludwig” and then Beethoven just SHREDS the piano – I rest my case.

Do you have any long-term aspirations as a music artist?
To Impact people. If I can put smiles on peoples faces, help them through hard times, or even just make their eyes widen with a cool drop, mission accomplished. The people who listen to my music are what make my career possible, and the best gift I can receive is to have impacted them with the music I write. Long term goals are to travel the world and play for as many people as possible and meet as many people as possible too! I love meeting people who listen (and people who never have as well!)

What is the best thing about performing to a live audience? What’s been the career highlight so far?The response. Goodness it’s SO cool when you work so hard on a track for weeks or months and then you drop it live and a group of people who are all there because they want to have a good time go nuts over it or sing it back to you?! That is SO COOL and I’ll never get tired of the energy that crowds give. When I’m on stage I love to jump and sing and dance and go crazy, so when the crowd does that back, it’s like we’re all in it together just having fun! There’s been too many cool moments to count so far and I feel like I’m just getting started! I would say getting support from SLANDER like this and dropping an EP on their imprint ‘Heaven Sent’ is definitely a highlight!
