How did the band come together? Where did it all begin?
The Witching Hour started back in 2018 in the original bass player’s basement in Gosford, NSW. There were 4 band members from Wollongong to Newcastle that were hand-picked by the original AC/DC Manager Michael Browning and ex Evermore Manager Brent Jeffrey.
Briefly describe your journey to date.
At 16 yo,Taime become the front man singer / guitarist and songwriter of the band, commuting from Shellharbour to Gosford every weekend to rehearse. Shortly after Management secured a residency in Budgewoi, Central Coast where the band honed their sound. After years of gigging and touring, the band evolved into the current incarnation, a power-trio now based between Wollongong and Sydney.
How would you describe your sound? Why do you think fans resonate with your music?
I would describe our music as Heavy, melodic and groovy. We feel people like our music because it’s catchy and has relatable lyrics.
Which artist’s music and/or performance, past or present, inspires you today?
Black Sabbath because their music still holds up today.
Your latest single ‘Dead Inside’ has just been released! What’s it all about? Describe its origin and evolution.
‘Dead Inside’ is a powerful, emotive heavy-rock ballad which lays bare the feelings of melancholy and despair.

Is there an EP or Album on the drawing board?
Yes! It’s definitely the right time for an EP for The Witching Hour and currently in the works.
What tours and events are coming up? What are you looking forward to, and what can the fans expect?
We’ve got the ‘Dead Inside’ tour kicking off in June at LA LA LA’s Wollongong and we’re looking forward to releasing our EP. You can expect an EP filled with heavy riffs, melody and our signature witchy sound.
If you could perform with any music artist, Alive or Dead, who would you choose? And why?
Most likely Peter Steele – It would be awesome to play alongside the ‘GOAT’.
What are your long-term aspirations as a music artist and how are you progressing towards them?
To tour internationally and to turn our 1Million streams into the Billions!
With that in mind, what piece of advice would you give to an artist starting out?
Develop your signature sound and image. Write original songs and get out there and gig.
What is the best thing about performing to a live audience? What’s been the career highlight so far?
The best thing about playing to a live audience is seeing how people connect with your music both physically and emotionally. Our career highlight is playing the gig to celebrate our 1 Million streams on “Sleep With The Stars’

What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done? When on tour at 16yo – Dacking my Manager in front of people, including bookers and promotors.
What is the one topic you can talk about for hours? Music in general is something I can talk about for hours.
What is the thing you like most about yourself? Well, umm… I’ve been told my hair is pretty triumphant!
