“It’s near impossible to have a discussion about Australian rock music without mentioning ‘Dragon’. For over 3 decades, the band have been gracing our airways and stages. With hits such as ‘April Sun in Cubs’ ‘Are You Old Enough?’ and ‘Reckless’ , a discography of 15 Studio Albums, and a deserving recipient of the ARIA Hall of Fame Award in 2008 for their contributions to Australian Pop Music, they are a testament to music standing the test of time and perseverance despite all odds being stacked against them in their starting days.

My name is Lizzie Brown, I’m a recent addition to the Amnplify team, and This morning, I had the honor of speaking to Composer and Bass Player for the band, Todd Hunter. We discussed the overall process of writing and releasing songs in the 80’s vs. now, how the band overcame the initial adversity, his influences, and the first time he ever heard his songs on the airways. Even just speaking to Todd for those few minutes, you can hear how much pride and love he has put into his work, and how passionate he is about his craft, and the band itself. It was an incredibly educational experience for me, and one that I will take forward with me in the future”.
