Have you always wanted to be an artist?
Yes, I’ve always been an artist. From the early days of art classes, playing the cello, and bass in elementary school, I found a deep love for creation. In the 80s and 90s, I was fascinated by the tactile process of crafting the school newspaper, photography, and yearbook layouts! I could be found cutting, hand-inking letterforms, and using carbon copies and typewriters. These analog experiences left a mark. Later, I earned a studio art degree with an emphasis in graphic design. Alongside this, I was always making music, from pecking out ideas on a Casio keyboard to crafting mixtapes for friends.
When did you get the song writing bug?
The bug has always been with me. Melody ideas, drum patterns, and lyrics have lived in my mind as long as I can remember. But it wasn’t until the 2020 pandemic that I found the time and space to act on it. With the world slowing down, I finally dove deep into creating music, exploring it in a way I hadn’t before.
Briefly describe your journey to date.
It started in 2020 during the pandemic when I began learning the piano and diving into DAWs. Before that, I only knew the bass clef. By 2021, I had released some experimental tracks, learning the tools along the way. A deeper immersion into music theory and production came in 2022-23. By 2024, I set ambitious goals: to become a producer and DJ, release music, and perform at festivals. I chose the melodic/progressive house lane and began releasing singles in August 2024. Nine months, several festival performances, and seven singles later, I’m set to perform at EDC Las Vegas, the same week my first EP drops. It feels like a rocketship taking off, and I’m incredibly grateful for the journey and the support from family, friends, and fans.
How would you describe your sound? Why do you think fans resonate with your Music?
Cinematic, melodic, and progressive. I’m still evolving, but the core of my sound is about energy, positivity, and healing. I aim to create music that feels like a journey, moving through highs and lows. I always recommend listening to the extended mixes, as I prefer presenting music in long form, telling a story that builds and unfolds. The new EP, for example, is crafted as a continuous experience, a journey that’s best heard in full. I also love performing live, where I can blend my own music with that of other artists to create a unique and powerful experience.

Which artist’s music and/or performance, past or present, inspires you today?
The pandemic opened up a new world for me, especially with artists from Anjunadeep and This Never Happened like Lane 8, Jerro, Luttrell, Ben Bohmer, and Above & Beyond. Their depth and melodic magic felt like a healing force. Music became a vehicle for positive energy, and that realization became clear during that time. I grew up in the 80s listening to British electronic pop like Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, New Order, and Erasure. In the 90s, I dove into the evolution of these sounds, influenced by producers like Brian Eno, Flood and Youth. This led me into 90s house and electronic music on labels like R&S and Warp, discovering Orbital, Seefeel, The Future Sound of London, and Underworld. Today, I draw inspiration from artists like Rufus du Sol, YOTTO, and Romain Garcia. My mind is like a musical rolodex, and I constantly refer back to tracks and artists as I create my own unique sound.
Your latest EP/Album ‘The Decoration Of Time’ will be released on May 16! What’s it all about? Describe its origin and evolution.
This EP is an immersive experience. I wanted to create a 20-minute track that invites listeners to lose themselves in a rhythmic, hypnotic flow. It’s intentionally extended, not rushing to the next thing, but allowing the music to unfold in its own time. It’s inspired by both modern dance rhythms and the ambient, electronica sounds of artists like Global Communication and Sun Electric; the sounds that kept me up late, working on design projects in college. This EP pays homage to those nights, where I was immersed in art and creativity. It’s a departure from the everyday; it’s a moment to pause and lose track of time. Music, for me, is the decoration of time as it passes. If time were to stop, the music would too.
What are the signature tracks on the EP, and which are your favorites to play live?
The combination of “Prologue” and “Uncharted Course” is particularly fun in a set. They work together to set a mood or reset the energy after an intense mix. They were originally conceived as one continuous track, but I compromised a bit and released “Uncharted Course” as a standalone single. “Future Memories” is fantastic for mixing—it creates an energetic layer that I love to loop and weave into a set. “Infinite Composition” stands as a more avant-garde piece, something experimental that serves as a deep, immersive experience in the middle of the EP.
What tours and events are coming up? What are you looking forward to, and what can the fans expect?
I’m performing at EDC Las Vegas on Sunday, May 18th. The energy will be unreal, and I can’t wait to share that moment with my fans.
If you could perform with any music artist, Alive or Dead, who would you choose? And why?
Taylor Swift. Every time I hear her music, I envision a melodic/progressive remix. Her imagination, intelligence, and relentless work ethic are inspiring. Her songwriting ability rivals that of the Beatles, who would also be on my list. Both Taylor and The Beatles embody the kind of world-class songwriting and emotional depth I admire. If I’m looking at someone in my lane of music today, I’d love to collaborate with Dosem or Rufus du Sol.
What are your long-term aspirations as a music artist and how are you progressing towards them?
My initial goal was to elevate my artistry to the level of playing at EDC, and that’s happening! Long-term, I aim to create a track that reaches a billion streams. Not for fame or wealth, but because I believe that track would connect with so many people on a deep level, offering comfort and a soundtrack to their lives. I want my music to uplift, soothe, and share my inner energy with the world. Music is my platform to make a difference.

With that in mind, what piece of advice would you give to an artist starting out?
Trust your heart and intuition. Don’t follow trends—create from the soul. Ask yourself: Does this passion get you out of bed in the morning? If the answer is yes, then you’re on the right path.
What is the best thing about performing to a live audience? What’s been the career highlight so far?
The energy is the best part. There’s something magical about being surrounded by people who are all connected through music. It’s an emotional exchange, and I never take that for granted. A career highlight for me was my two-hour set in direct support of Genix at Discopussy in Las Vegas earlier this year. I was able to build a journey, taking the audience through highs and lows, creating a connection that felt incredibly special. It’s a set I’ll always remember.
Here are three general questions your fans will find interesting about you:
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done? Skydiving with my daughter on her 18th birthday
What is the one topic you can talk about for hours? Design and creativity
What is the thing you like most about yourself? My ability to empathize and celebrate the emotions of others.
Finally, just a few questions for some quick answers –
FAVOURITE:
Album – Introspective by Pet Shop Boys
Artist – Van Gogh
Movie – Interstellar by Chrisopher Nolan
Place to visit – Lucerne, Switzerland
Venue to play – Las Vegas Speedway at EDC
Food – Carne Asada burrito
Drink – Coke Zero with lime
Person in History – I’m curious about Handel.
Tattoo – I don’t have one, but I’ve envisioned a simple, two-point line circle. It would symbolize wholeness—reminding me that time and humanity are connected, and we’re all part of a greater whole, forever.
