The Brisbane Entertainment Centre was electrified as Lenny Kravitz brought his “Blue Electric Light” tour to Australia for the first time in over a decade. Supported by the iconic Aussie band Jet, the night promised—and delivered—a celebration of rock, soul, and showmanship.
Opening the night, Jet delivered a punchy set of their own hits, setting the stage for Kravitz’s arrival. Their classic rock energy was the perfect warm-up for the main event, and their return to Australian stages was met with loud approval.
Kravitz’s setlist was a masterclass in career-spanning hits and fresh material. Fans were treated to classics like “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” “Fly Away,” “American Woman,” and “It Ain’t Over ’Til It’s Over,” alongside new tracks from his latest album, “Blue Electric Light,” such as “TK421,” “Honey,” and “Paralyzed”. The show opened with a thunderous drum intro, and from the first note, Kravitz’s charisma and energy were palpable. His band, featuring long-time guitarist Craig Ross and powerhouse drummer Jas Kayser, delivered a tight, dynamic sound that kept the crowd moving all night.
Kravitz’s stage presence remains magnetic. He effortlessly moved between high-octane rock anthems and soulful ballads, engaging the audience with warmth and authenticity.. The crowd, a mix of long-time devotees and new fans, responded with enthusiasm—dancing, singing, and clapping along to every beat.
Nobody went home disappointed. Great gig. Bravo Lenny!
