“Plenty of musicians have used the powerful feeling of love as their muse over the years, but for Melbourne’s husband duo, Mister Co. it is the reason for the inception.” – Beat Magazine
“Having only been writing together since after their wedding in April (2022), the two have made immense strides in their craft and this newest endeavor is truly breathtaking.” – We Write About Music.

Mister Co.’s new single ‘Make You Feel Alright’ should come with its own heat warning as this song is smoking! Fusing elements of RnB, soul and a whole lot of swagger this is a track that will absolutely make you feel alright.
The duo and married couple, Connor and Oscar Absolum, have been making music together for several years, both having strong musical experience as musicians and producers. Their strong collaboration shines through in ‘Make You Feel Alright’ which is a total slow jam. Penned during one of the lockdowns the song’s premise is rooted in giving comfort and service to someone you love. Wanting to be selfless to another person to attend to their emotional, mental and physical needs. Right off the bat from the first lines of the song, “I don’t wanna talk about it, I just wanna ride upon it” is going to give you all the information you’ll need for the next four minutes.
Tongue-in-cheek nods to getting down are weaved through other sultry lines like “I wanna see you in the light”. It’s wild no doubt but not salacious with Mister Co. keeping the vibe upbeat and funky. Leaving you rocking your body and bopping your head in time with the rhythm. The production itself remains simple with a lazy bass riff that walks in from the intro. Keyboards keep things interesting and provide the pop flourishes it needs to keep the song modern and the accompanying drums hit like the beat of your heart.
It’s a flirty and fun track from Mister Co. but would you expect anything else from these artists who sing with actual authenticity? It’s one thing to write a love song and sing it. It’s another to write, produce and perform a track with your actual muse by your side. The result is ‘Make You Feel Alright’ radiates with warmth and genuine affection that is perfect for lovers, or anyone who just enjoys a sumptuous slow burn.
