Newcastle trio Raave Tapes just released new single ‘Suds’, to follow up the infectious ‘k bye’ released last year. The gritty and raw track with an empowering message about unwelcome behaviour at gigs, with singer/guitarist Joab Eastley saying;

“We want to encourage the listener to call out this conduct, even if the culprit is a close friend”

Raave Tapes continue to exceed expectations with guitar effects to fall for, punchy drums, and the recognisably powerful bass from Lindsay O’Connell. ‘Suds’ pushes the band to a new level, seemingly what has happened with each single release so far. Lyrically the track takes on a recognisable and relatable tone, with recurring lines accompanied by its strong message.

The band’s ear-ringing synth-rock driven track no doubt will take the next few months by storm, as they take on Groovin’ the Moo Maitland this year.

‘Suds’ is nothing short of addictive and infectious, a dance party squeezed into 3 minutes of absolute drive, a must see for live gigs.
