Creating a name for himself amongst the Melbourne and Perth rap scene is young artist Stan Cavier. He has been busy keeping up his appearance with support slots at shows, getting the chance to travel all over Australia alongside of Arno Faraji, opening up for International Artists such as Rejjie Snow, bbno$ and Australian artist Allday, as well as playing Groovin The Moo (WA) in 2019. He has also been constantly popping up on his Soundcloud with amazing tunes, and now he is now ready to release some more music into the world that shows just how talented he really is.
His latest single ‘Flex’ is something that is more than happy to flex about. Creating a soundtrack to flex anytime, anywhere was the objective. Stan states “The vibe was to make something that you can play in the house whilst cleaning, or turning up with your friends on a night out.” The resulting joint has a vibe that adapts to your chosen space: Club, car, studio or house.

“The song is about flexing cause we’re in such a flex period. When you get some new shoes or a new fit, all you wanna do is flex for the gram with your girls or homies, smoke and vibe out, and cause we’re stuck at home there’s nothing else to do, we have a lot of free time to get creative” explains Stan.
‘Flex’ starts with a tranquil low-fi beat that sets the vibe for the track. With soft vocals matching the intricate production layering of instruments and sound effects, this is a track that gives him a well-rounded sound as well as a track that is way too catchy for its own good. ‘Flex’ is a song that instantly draws you in and leaves you with feelings of good times and good vibes.
Stan is working harder than ever to give his fans a diverse catalogue of sounds that show him experimenting in both old school and new school R’n’B and Soul. With ‘Flex’ being just one of the many releases to come, you better keep an eye out for Stan Cavier, because he’ll be hitting the major sound waves before you know it.
