Enter something more than material, dissolve into the formless and “Come Closer”, The Glitch Mob’s new album pushes you into a new dimension with punchy synths, their signature sound. Asserting their faulty glitch noises in the mainframe to the next level. Listen as the reverb of electric guitar mixed in with the grunginess of high gain strings hits your eardrums. This apocalypse of sound takes you to a place of envy and questions your origin of birth. If you’ve heard of Nero, The Glitch Mob pulls light references with their electro waves of bliss.

Highlights to my membranes were “Disintegrate Slowly”, opening the track with samples of glass bottles chiming in the wind in fashionable character definitely not for the faint of heart. Put those over ears on and take yourself on a journey. This is quite the pleasure to the senses.

Imagine an alleyway of an entrenched city based in the 2020’s where a bio-human exists and is upgraded with frequencies of glitch. This robot is improving with each element of layered samples.

“How Could This Be Wrong”, the story of a distant future calling the name of its listeners. Evolve and let go with an intricate composition of vocal samples and systematic placement of drum beats and snare taps.

I’d recommend finding a place of reflection and looking over the city from the hilltops whilst taking in the depth of these long format sounds. I challenge you to inspire yourself with words while reflecting upon this collection of recordings.

An excellent album for all glitch lovers.

Don’t hold back, let go and “Take Me With You”.  A tribal essence enters, entrances your attention and leads you on a voyage of unpredictable expression.

Vocals entrance you in a heavy journey to taste the taste before it’s gone, lets illuminate through the abundance of full expression. reflect upon your life, get lost in the motion of the chimes and bells that encapsulate you to the movement. Get lost in the highs and lows, let the thought.

‘I Could Be Anything’. dance though the fibre of your being. You’re given the choice; do you dance upon the idea of possibility, choosing who you are, or do you stay within the lines?

Dark synths creep in to a desolate space, with a sudden stillness that dispels your mind. An insistent voice lurks in the shadows reminding you to ‘Keep on .  Feel the pitch shift in the mist of the fog.

Intervene your subconscious and take an expedition whilst you wait intently. There is no unchanging permanent self, soul, or rider. Listen to the sequence of character, seeing beyond perception, are we interbeing?

Feel what is sensed in these sounds, listen to the talks of reflection, and question forward. Becauses these waves tell a tale of all senses.
