Melbourne based band Vermantics are back it with a rip roaring track that sizzles with “Don’t Think Twice”. It’s their latest single that flexes with the vibe of their live shows distilling a kinetic energy in a three minute ride of rock.

This time around producer Tom Leach, who has worked with legends like Lewis Capaldi, has leant his golden touch to the song infusing it with a crackling energy. It’s a solid partnership  between the four-piece band and producer as they keep faithful to the band’s distinctive style of playing sound.

“Don’t Think Twice” dives head-first into the experience of hedonstic urges that in the cold light of day wouldn’t seem like a great idea with another person. Singer, Stefan Fedel’s accepts his fate as he croons “there’s something in the way that you hold me down” and throughout the song is peppered with lyrics of being down bad. The energy is frenetic through the verses before the track segues into a chorus dripping with desire and urgency.

The track opens with a gritty guitar riff that promises “Don’t Think Twice” will show Vermantics’ edge. With Stefan’s vocals coming in powerful and emotive the drums of Julian Perrotta smack in sharp to propel the song’s momentum as Daniel Fedele’s moody bass and Jack Stevenson’s guitar provides all the texture to complete this dynamic soundscape. It’s catchy and powerful, at times giving glimpses of old Kingswood and Violent Soho tunes with it’s unfiltered emotion and brawny attitude.

“Don’t Think Twice” shows the band is going strong, building on their versatility in crafting sorchingly hot tracks. It’s a joyride of raw energy and adrenaline that you may want to crank up the volume, hit the gas pedal and let loose into this wild journey.
