One of the most charismatic artists in Australian Pop Music is returning with her first new music in over a year – ‘See U in 3’ is the slinky and sensual new single by Salty out today.

The track was produced and co-written by Cyrus Villanueva one of the country’s most in demand young writer /producers, who has written and recorded with the likes of GO-JO, MAY-A, Charley, Will Hyde, Oliver Cronin, Client Liasion and GRAACE.

“’See U in 3′ is a song I have been sitting on for a while”, Salty reflects. ”I never felt quite ready to have it out in the world but it’s all fallen into place sooooo perfectly. This song captures an essence of my artistry that I feel like is only just beginning to come to fruition.”

The song’s accompanying high energy video is three minutes of pure dance with Salty and ten dancers giving it everything they have in a bare bones studio setting. The clip’s eye popping choreography comes courtesy of Cassie Bartho, one of the stars of the hit Prime series DanceLife.

Salty felt driven to recreate the vitality that she absorbed from her time at Brent Street in the “See U in 3” video, which was directed by Bianca Georgievska.  “Going into the visual element for this song I knew I wanted to dance. I trained at Brent Street for 8 years and I really cherished my time there, and since, I’ve been craving that sense of community.”

She wanted to express the deep connection between creatives that is unique to the dance world. “I am very lucky to have grown up in the dance community and to be mentored by incredible people like Cassie Bartho who I was lucky enough to have on board for this video. Her choreography was the final piece to bring this song to life. It also wouldn’t be what it is without the talented dancers, they make it so special and I am grateful to have them by my side. This is my favourite video to date, for sure.” 

Cassie Bartho was keen to collaborate with Salty on the video; “Her creativity and dedication have always been an inspiration to me.  Witnessing her hone her craft from such a young age at Brent Street has been an absolute honour. When I heard the song “See U in 3,” and I was beyond excited to jump on board and bring Kirsten’s vision to life.”

Salty will be hitting the stage to launch ‘See U in 3’ at The Trocadero in Sydney on Saturday July 13, with special guests Lee Sugar and DJ Farnozz.

Anyone that’s seen Salty on stage knows that she has an unwavering dedication to dance. It’s a core part of her live performances and it never fails to raise the energy levels through the roof. She came to singing only after being trained as a dancer at the world famous Brent Street Performing Arts School in Sydney (where DanceLife was filmed).

Salty is a dynamic force who not only embodies the spirit of Pure Pop but elevates it to new heights. Unapologetically drawing inspiration from Pop greats past and present such as Lily Allen, Britney Spears, Tate McRae and Lady Gaga, Salty’s musical choices are a vibrant fusion of undeniable Pop hooks with bold, unapologetic lyrics.

She’s shared stages with MAY-A, Thomas Headon, Budjerah, GO-JO, Carla Wehbe and Charley. Her previous singles such as ‘Lucy’, ‘Limbo’, ‘Je Ne Sais Quoi’ and ‘Why Don’t We’ have already caught the ear of those who know classic Pop Music when they hear it. Even with no music released in over 12 months her fanbase continues to grow rapidly with over 2.6 million likes on TikTok.
