Champagne Affection follows on from the release of The Beat Supreme and The Real Thing. The latter has amassed over a million streams, was #1 most played on triple j and spawned a huge 12 date national tour which was met with rave reviews.
Speaking on the new single, Monte and Harvey noted “Champagne Affection is an invitation to celebrate summer in all its carefree decadence. It describes the joy of two people coming together in the moment between flirting and romance. It’s a song for all five senses, a song for the imagination, where anything seems possible as long as you have a glass of Champagne in hand.”
After being debuted on their recent national tour to rapturous applause, Champagne Affection is here to pop the cork on the festive season and offer yet another glimpse into Client Liaison’s forthcoming record out early next year which Monte and Harvey are currently putting the finishing touches on in collaboration with Dann Hume (Amy Shark, Matt Corby) and Nick Littlemore (Pnau, Empire of Sun)
