Today, Rich Brian releases his most personal and self-directed album, WHERE IS MY HEAD?, out now via 88rising. Marking his first full-length album since 2019, WHERE IS MY HEAD? is a raw, introspective coming-of-age record that captures the emotional and creative evolution Brian has undergone over the past six years. LISTEN HERE.
Written and largely self-produced, WHERE IS MY HEAD? reflects Brian’s growing desire for deeper artistic control and authenticity. The album explores themes of heartbreak and healing, ambition and alienation, memory and self-reinvention. Across 15 tracks, which include features from artists such as Toro y Moi on ‘Body High’, Charlotte Day Wilson and DAISY WORLD on ‘Is It?’, and redveil on ‘Bumpy Road’, Brian opens up about the fallout from a long-term relationship, the guilt of missing key family milestones, and his ongoing search for identity as someone navigating life between cultures and expectations.
The project includes previously released singles ‘Little Ray of Light‘, ‘Butterfly‘, and the high-energy ‘Jumpy‘ featuring Ski Mask The Slump God, each offering a glimpse into Brian’s evolving sonic and lyrical palette.
To coincide with the album’s release, Brian unveils ‘She’ featuring Kurtis Wells as the project’s lead single. A laid-back, alternative hip-hop track about love, loss, and reflection, ‘She’ pairs moody production with Brian’s introspective lyricism. The song arrives alongside a Jared Hogan-directed visualiser that expands the album’s rich, cinematic worldbuilding.

Conceptually, WHERE IS MY HEAD? introduces two versions of Brian: Maestro, a conductor scoring music for the dreams of Movie Brian, who lives unknowingly inside the world the Maestro creates. This surreal and symbolic narrative plays out across a series of music videos and visualisers directed by Hogan, offering fans an immersive and emotionally resonant experience.
With WHERE IS MY HEAD?, Rich Brian is redefining success on his own terms. From analogue synths to stripped-back vocals, the album showcases his most vulnerable and mature work to date, all while strengthening the bond with his ever-growing global fanbase.

About RICH BRIAN
With WHERE IS MY HEAD?, Rich Brian’s first full-length album since 2019, the Indonesian-born artist redefines and coheres his vision in a staggering way. He’s making the most vulnerable and authentic music of his life, in turn deepening the connection with his ever growing army of devoted fans. With WHERE IS MY HEAD?, Rich Brian’s definition of success now means something different than ever before. He’s had the hits. Now? He wants something more. Brian decided to handle most of the performances himself, honing in on an analog sound thanks to his intense immersion learning to play synthesisers and keyboards. He sings more than ever before on the new album, showcasing a confident and mature delivery. It’s a record driven by a relentless pursuit of making music. He truly loves an intimate connection between artist and craft that resonates in every track. Brian has finally discovered himself. His priority is simple: How can he make art that makes him happy? He asks: “How can I continue to make music that I love more than anything else?” On WHERE IS MY HEAD? Rich Brian answers that question on each and every track.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
