Best known for his ominous mix of gritty rap and slick R&B that won over the streets and the clubs and combined with his natural vocal talents and ear for infectious beats, Day1 is set to be one of Australia’s breakout Hip Hop stars. After bursting onto the local hip-hop scene in 2019 with his now ARIA Platinum single “BOSS”, swiftly backed up with “Cancelled”, “Wavey (feat. Davey)”, “Riding”, an official remix of A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s single “Mood Swings” with Youngn Lipz and Creed Tha Kid, and most recently his party anthem “Shisha Chick”, Day1 has firmly cemented himself as one-to-watch.
