Eora/Sydney-based R&B artist RISSA today unveils her impassioned single ‘FALL OUT’ — off her upcoming EP, set for release on Friday, October 24.
FALL OUT’ opens with the pitter-patter of rain weaving together with engrossing arpeggiating piano, creating a cinematic exploration of heartbreak. Recorded at Offbeat Studios, Marrickville, and produced and mixed by Edy Liu, RISSA crafts an effortlessly cosy soundscape that captures both the fragility and strength found in loss.
Speaking on the single, RISSA shares: “‘FALL OUT’ is the sound and story of heartbreak. From the sounds of rain in the background to cinematic vocal layers & hard beat drops, ‘FALL OUT’ soundtracks the emotions of betrayal & loss of love in a relationship while still maintaining power at the end of it all. Alongside the release, RISSA will take to the stage for a special Eora/Western Sydney headline show on Saturday, September 27, at Common House Studios, Glendenning, NSW, giving fans an early glimpse into the sonic world of her forthcoming EP.
Included in the EP will be the previous single ‘FOREVER’, which saw support from NOVA, Hit FM, triple j, triple j Unearthed, Double J, CADA, fbi radio, SYN, and more. With a growing catalogue of heartfelt releases – from her 2023 debut EP ‘Made To Feel’ to recent singles ‘love me right’ and ‘Cinematic Feels’, RISSA continues to carve out a lane defined by emotional depth, vocal finesse, and undeniable soul.
